Marvin Launches Sebastien Loeb Collection
Marvin Watch Co. has partnered with seven time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb to launch a limited edition collection of chronographs designed by Loeb. Available with automatic or quartz movements and black or white dials, the Sebastien Loeb collection incorporates automotive-inspired design details to combine the performance of world rallying with precision Swiss watchmaking. The 44mm stainless steel case features articulating lugs mounted on spring suspensions, allowing the watch to adjust to the contours of the wrist for maximum comfort. Loeb designed the dial to reflect the dashboard of his rally car. Sneak Peak At Upcoming LUM-TEC 1000m PVD Diver Watch
Many say that it cannot be done - a 1000 meter water resistant diver's watch with an internal rotating bezel. Why? Well, it has to do with the crown that rotates the internal bezel. Unlike the crown for setting the time than can be tightly screwed into ensure high water resistance, the crown for adjusting the internal bezel needs to be functional, even deep under water. Part of this dilemma is purely academic, because people can't even dive that deep and live. So you could theoretically have a crown for the internal bezel that does ensure water resistance to say 300 meters, and then would need to be screwed down beyond that. LUM-TEC isn't interested in such trivialities. It wants to make a 1000m diver watch with an internal rotating bezel. I can't wait to see how they attack the challenge.Maybe LUM-TEC will use a sophisticated technique like the one that Breitling used for pushers. An Observation I Made
I was browsing the Panerai catalog that arrived around the same time I got my PAM 320. I realised that the time on each model displayed showed the time 10:10 and for models with the date was displayed 28.I thought to myself where have I seen that display before? I realised that Rolex use the same time and date configuration on their watches for advertisements !Is Panerai playing a silent homage to Rolex for providing movements in the past or is it a coincidence?Just my thoughts!

Friday, Friday, Friday. It's about time (pun intended).
I'm going to wear the K-650 for another day. The more I wear it, the more I like it. It's freshly serviced and runs fantastically well. The gold ring on the dial has been polished to a mirror shine. It just looks, feels and runs mint and pristine. I didn't expect that when it arrived so here I'll share it's first arrival photo.
