Fans of waltham wrist watches
This is another watch I had hidden away for about ten yrs. Its amazing how good these things run and keep time over the years. God knows the last time they were serviced. I love this watch. It's 14k white gold ,in great shape and keeps good time. It's got nice weight to it, very solid feeling and ornate. The case back says "Star watch case co. ,14k fine, 585/1000". The movmt. says " AWWCO , Waltham, USA " and the # "25" over "558708". It also says "sapphire" on the movmt. I dont know if that refers to the jewels or the crystal, But the crystal does feel like sapphire, no scratches at all. the case size is 1- 1/16' w/out the crown. Again, I'm just looking for info, age and a possible value.Thank you guys ,Kurt

Stuhrling watch
I got this Skelton movement ST90060 in my stuhrling it hands with small triangle at the end of the hands. Kinda hard to see. So I was thinking of getting better hands. My new Seiko Mini Monster
So I had no plans on buying any new watches soon¡­I¡¯m still trying to decide on which pilots watch to get(Archimede, Steinhart, Christopher Ward, Aristo, Laco¡­sooo many to choose from!) later this year. But this watch caught me by surprise¡­I saw it one day just perusing on Amazon and it was like the brain worm Khan put in Chekov¡¯s ear¡­once it was in my head I could NOT get it out. Now on the internet every picture I saw of this watch had me thinking it was black but upon receipt I realized it¡¯s really not..it¡¯s more of a gun metal..which I¡¯ve discovered I REALLY like. I don¡¯t have anything else like it which is great. I love the red on the bezel¡­gives it just enough pop in my eyes. The face and hands make it extremely easy to read and I haven¡¯t had a chance to test it all night but the lume seems to be just as good as my Samurai¡­maybe better because there¡¯s more of it. This thing looks heavier than it is but it definitely does feel sturdy and well made¡­just like all my other Sei

...have been without an AP since I sold my 15300 this summer, yesterday I got a minty Diver from Dec -13...BUT I have some questions-I find the edges under the buckle VERY sharp, anyone else experienced this?-I need to source a smaller size strap (I have to use the last hole since I like to wear my watches tight) I have the original on mine, what size is the smaller one? anyone know the RRP of these?
