Tissot T0025201105100 wrist watches news:
I came across a neat Hamilton. I has a 19j #982 movement with the number: J84664 on the movement the case is a 14K gold filled case that can rotate so that thesolid back is up. This one is engraved "White Club Member 1940 1941" It keeps time but the crystal is cracked and needs to be replaced. I would like to know what kind of a band came on this watch and the model. Just wondering, does anyone know what the White Club is or was?photo3.jpgphoto.JPGphoto (1).jpg
Recently I have had a hankering for a leather band watch. I have decided that I would like to convert my Citizen to a leather band instead of buying a new watch just yet.I'm looking for a black leather band, as my watch face is black carbon fiber style. I would also love if it could be a clasp deployment style instead of the regular buckle style. Where would be a good place to pick up one? Any particular brands come to mind?As I have never done this before, once I get my band, should I take it to my AD to switch the bands out? Thanks for all the help!-Pete
Most of you are familiar with the fine sponsors on the forum so I need your advice or opinions I have a Tavannes pocket watch that belonged to my grandfather that needs major restoration. Are any of the sponsors into pocket watch restoration or do any of you know of a reputable company that I can send it to for an estimate on restoration? I know it needs the small seconds hand and a crystal It will run when wound but not for long so I suspect all pivot points are gummed up. The back screws off but I cannot see a serial # stamped anywhere on the movement. inside the back there are numbers and what appears to be an indication that there were only 30 made. Thanks for the help.
Hi Friends, im new in TRF and ive been a silent reader so far. Now im in a big dilemma and need your guys advise on this.I have my ss diver 15703 and loving it so far (gorgeous watch indeed). But ive been deeply in love in aquanaut both 5165 or 5167 since last year. For me aquanaut is much better watch than nautilus (i know i know most of you guys wont think the same). And just yesterday i got offer from a watch dealer that they have a 5165 preowned with cert only without boxes. Because i kinda have no budget to purchase a new watch, the only option at this moment to get 5165 is to switch it with ap 15703. This is the only watch that i have that have the closest value to 5165. So what do you guys think bout this offer? Just for your info is i need to pay around usd3500 more to upgrade to 5165 with no box and only have the certificate on it. Thanks in advance for your advise.
Hello Rolexers,I currently live in South Korea and looking to get a Rolex in about 6 months. I did some research and been reading on here. I see that Duty Free places can have cheaper Rolex prices than ADs in the states. Will I be able to still bargain with them for a discount? If so, what's a good starting point for discount?- Cheyenne
