- Watch doesn't sync as often as my other Casio models, but still syncs several times a week. Really a non-issue.Watch band is designed to fit slightly loose, strapping it down snug would be uncomfortable.

Tudor 76100 wrist watches news:
Traditionally, services such as customization of watchmaking and customization were in a chic boutique with an authorized dealer on a glass of champagne and cookies. Now that this model has changed and brands realize that people want to shop online at home.
Can anyone offer any insight into what I have here and whether (and, if so, where) it can be restored ?I have a Thin-O-Matic that I inherited from my late uncle. Gold tone case ("10 Karet Gold Filled" followed by what appear to be "SXW" in a box stamped on the rim edge of the back of the case), white/silver/cream colored dial (can't really tell the original color) with a rotational "swirl" pattern, applied gold 12, 3, 6, 9 numerals with indices inbetween those four numerals, half-circle "Hamilton" below the 12 and half-circle "Automatic" above the 6 (does not have the more modern Hamilton "H" symbol), has "Swiss" in tiny letters below the six along the rim, broken lug (which I have saved). Sorry, tried to post a photo, but after the upload gets to about the half-way point, it stops and the site tells me I'm not logged in (which I am; yes, cookies accepted). Thanks.
Ok, the title say it allWhich one is the most eco friendly technology for watches...I was reading a letter from the chairman of Orient, and he claims that the most eco friendly technology is the mechanical, I agree, but let's discuss a little, and point some details...Now, I'm describing as "eco friendly" the watch itself, and the technology working inside the watch, not actually the technology to produce the watch, because that is another story...1. Mechanical (Auto or Manual): No battery, no electricity, no polution, more lifespan, just need oiling2. Quartz: Battery, electricity and electronics (polution in some grade), less lifespan3. Solar/Eco drive: no battery, electricity and electronics (polution in some grade), less lifespan4. Kinetic: no battery, electricty and electronics (polution in some grade), mechanical recharging, less lifespan, but more than solar?5. Spring Drive: No battery, electricity but no electronics, less polution, more lifespan, just need oilingSo, IMHO, and I'
I was wondering if anyone on this forum owns either the Breitling Transocean Unitime or the new Breitling Transocean Chrono Moonphase........if so, thoughts and impressions on the one you own.
Any thoughts on benefits between these two? Longevity, ruggedness, value over time? Thanks in advance....BRD.
