My 1st Hamilton : A classic rose gold Jazzmaster Auto Chrono
Hi to everyone, I'm new to this forum but I'm now officially a Hamilton owner as I just bought a rose gold Jazzmaster Auto Chrono which I wanted to share with you guys here. It just called out to me with its timeless elegance at the AD. It's a 7753 movement, 42mm diameter excluding crown. I've not checked its accuracy yet at the moment since I'm not too particular over it. It gets lots of wrist time from me. Economics of High-end watch sales
So over the weekend I was in Vegas for March madness and I got to stop by a watch store in the new city center (forget the name of the shop) that sold a bunch of high-end watches (lots of Breguet). BS'd with one of the watch salesmen and won a bet off my buddy (he bet me that the Breguet tourbillon was under $100k, but he knows nothing about watches, so I politely only bet him $20).Anyway, it got me thinking about the economics of a store like that. Do the salesmen make salaries or commissions? Both the salesmen in there were wearing $20k watches and $3k+ suits, so I was thinking it must be some good money. Also do they outright purchase inventory from the manufacturers, or is it some sort of consignment arrangement? I imagine it could be difficult to carry such an expensive inventory of watches, especially ones that would be difficult to sell since they cost so much.Not thinking about getting into jewelry sales or anything, but I was just curious as to how these shops are structured..

Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36mm or 39mm?
Hey guys,I have been saving for a while and have hit around the halfway mark for buying a Rolex Oyster Perpetual! I am super excited. However, I'm uncertain of whether to go for the 39mm or 36mm? I have a 17.5cm (6.8) wrist and I am 25 year old male who works in a corporate environment. I don't like my watches to be too flashy, I prefer the stealth wealth look. Will the 36mm be too small for my wrist? The 39mm is definitely on my mind, however, I'm not really a big fan of the blue dots in the dail, above the hours.any advice or opinions would be appreciated :)Thank you!
