I realize some of us here on the BB have purchased pre-owned watches in the past. I have a few questions regarding this:- Was it a concern if there was no documentation?- Did you have the watch sent to Rolex for servicing thereafter?- How/Did you get an appraisal for insurance purposes?- Did you have the watch authenticated later on?Thanks everyone.

Hi evoryone I have a Sea Dweller that I haven't worn since I got my GMT, and I have a rule if I don't wear it I sell it . My question is whether or not I should service it before I sell it ? Is it worth the time and money ? will I recoup the cost of the service ? Thanks in advance ....Danny

So I just got a watch with a 8215 movement. Inexpensive watch, Redline, but I figured with a decent movement it should be okay. I like the watch but noticed that the second hand stops every now and then around the 12 o'clock position. Then I started reading about how quirky this movement is. At first I thought it didn't have enough power, so I wound the crap out of it, and this is after wearing it for half a day. Does this sound like normal quirkiness or does it need to be returned?
