- This watch can be worn casually or more formally, especially since it is a bracelet look. It is enough for boomers to see and pretty enough to wear with other similar jewelry items.

U-Boat 1249 wrist watches news:
Snagged this a couple of days ago at a steal price. Usual macro pics makes it look a little ragged but from the seller's statements and the history of the watch I think it should be in great shape. It is in the UPS system and should be here by Friday. More pics to follow:
Just picked up my dad's two watches from restoration. He passed away about 6 years ago and left me two watches. A mid 50's SS Benrus wristalarm, and a tank style 14K GF Hamilton. Never could remember if he received the Hamilton as a HS, or College graduation present. Never knew which model the Hamilton was (until yesterday!!!). I had the watchmaker remove the back in front of me, it's a Wadsworth!! Dad graduated from HS in about 1942, then enlisted in WWII, then finished up at Marquette in about 1947????. Could someone give me an approximate age of the Wadsworth??? I don't have a S/N. Thanks!!!
Got these 2 beauties yesterday...The very subtle choc. brown stitching compliments the dial on my PAM 61..(Ti case and Tobacco dial)Goes well with the Ti Pre V buckle..And this dark brown ammo strap really captures the color. Thanks for looking.
Hey all, I just started to get really into watches and wanted to share my humble collection of 1 so far, I plan on growing my collection soon with a Seiko Diver, I just have to make up my mind on which one, anyways here is my watch.Erik ESQ Quest
Very fortunate today to have an opportunity to tour a Rolex repair facility. Cool stuff to see. They had this instrument that measures acoustic vibrations. You place your watch on it and it show a digital and graphical output on how your watch is performing. Many of the folks I was with tested their Rolex Subs. I was off target because I wore my Panerai 312 today. I asked if he would test mine and he did. Really nice. It was perfect!! Started out +/- 1 sec but balanced out with 0 variation. Definitely a fun morning. Just thought I would share this experience.
