Chopard 161905-1001 wrist watches news:

Most vintage watches from the 1920's-1930's (especially Hamiltons) came on a tan (sometimes brown, black, or dark gray) pigskin strap. But some of my vintage watches just look "right" with the straps I've selected, and I can't imagine any other strap on them. Style, color, texture, stitching are all things to be considered, IMO. Some examples....Hamilton BooneHamilton Sherwood NRussellRossHamilton BrookeMorleyMasonCushion (rare aviation dial)Hamilton BarrelElgin E-11Greenwich
This is not a continuation of an early thread. I just found that I wanted to add my legitimate reasons for wearing the watch on the right wrist. I think I will just list them, and maybe others might want to comment on it.1. The crown is out of the way of the bent wrist.2. The crown is out of the way of splashing water.3. Since I am right-handed, the watch appears more often to myself and others - for instance when I write or drink coffee or Dos Equis - people see the watch more often.4. Since my right hand is more active, it keeps the power up on the watch. (no comments, please) 5. Since I take the watch off to fiddle with it, it doesn't matter what arm it is on.6. Since I take the watch off to do rough work, it doesn't matter what arm it is on.7. People see my watch when I shake their hands.8. Since the right hand is more coordinated, I am more aware of it and least likely to bump the watch on something. If other men did this on TV, it would be MUCH easier to get a screen gr
How can the Edox prices vary so much? I find them from $99.00 up into the many thousands of dollars. The $99.00 version is Swiss Quartz, sapphire crystal, Stainless steel bracelet, 5 year warranty, etc. Am I missing something? I am really not familiar with the Edox brand other than spotting it on the TV shopping show; but when I searched the internet I noticed that it is "mostly" sold by a handfull of discount websites, all with the same Florida address. The same company that sells them on TV. Is it made exclusively for them? Any information is appreciated.
