Montblanc has announced that it will serve as official timekeeper for the Belmont Stakes thoroughbred race on June 5, 2010 at Belmont Park in Elmont, NY. At 1.5 miles, the Belmont Stakes is the longest and most demanding of the Triple Crown races. HELP!! I have been offered ?4,500 for my 1998 dopplechronograph 3711/3713? on the stainless steel bracelet with inner wooden box and inserts, outer box, an IWC crocodile strap, set of bracelet tools and 1 extra set links. is that a fair price, It is out of production now and I have never seen one for sale.

Need help picking a strap for an old Bulova
I have an heirloom Bulova that came from my father-in-law. His wrists are a bit smaller than mine, so now the stretch strap that Bulova provided is really a bit tight for me. I'd like to replace it with something that looks like it belongs with the watch. I'd actually prefer not another stretch, but rather a link strap with deployant. Maybe a leather strap with deployant if it goes, but I think a metal strap would work better.The inside distance of the lugs s 17.5mm, so I'm thinking I can only use a16mm strap - 18mm wouldn't work, would it? When they size a strap is it right on, a little bigger, or a little smaller?The face has a beautiful sunburst effect; here's a pic. Doesn't really do justice to the color. Anybody have a Citizen Eco Drive Minute Repeater?
I'm interested in the Citizen minute repeater because I think it's an interesting complication, but even if I hit Megabucks I doubt I'd spend the $$ on a mechanical one. So, that leaves the Citizen or Bulova as far as I'm aware. I think I prefer the Citizen because it is an Eco Drive and a Perpetual Calendar (if I remember right...)Thanks for any info!
