Zenith 18.2111.400/01.C498 wrist watches news:
I received my 2531.80.00 back this morning from Steve at Ryte Time. It has gone through a few changes since I purchased it in April of last year.It looked like this when I first received it: (note the ding on the bezel at 55-56 mins)The first thing I did was purchase a "Bond" 1503.825 bracelet:I then had it serviced and later had a new bezel fitted.I really preferred the 2254.50.00 but did not have the funds to buy another watch, so I had Steve fit the following parts for me:Omega 064WZ3121001 Black Dial (SMP 2230.50.00)Omega 065PZ4136 Hour & Minute Hands (SMP 2230.50.00)Omega 066PZ4094 Seconds Hand (SMP 2230.50.00)ETA 2802 2557.1 Date Ring 3 o'clock White Figures on Black BackgroundOmega 082SU1464 Black Bezel (SMP 2254.60.00)And now my 2531.80.00 looks like this:I did ask Steve to supply and fit a PO 42mm seconds hand, but delivery of the hand was adding to the length of time my watch had been away, (24th of November) So I just went with the (SMP 2230.50.00) seconds hand. Now all I
Greetings, esteemed Members! My beautiful girlfriend, Sarah visited me last weekend from Tampa here in Colorado Springs. We had a fantastic time....btw, we are both excited about attending this Nov GTG in Tampa. We started out at breakfast in historic Colorado City. The weather was fantastic! We then drove through "Garden of the God's" Park. It was breathtaking!Around noon, we went to Manitou Springs and had a refreshment Then we played a few rounds of Skee Ball....yes, she was ready for me to play and stop taking photos We then stopped by Bristol Brewery and had a cold IPA...this is the view of the bottling operation from our seats at the bar:Then it was off to the house so we could sit outside, drink some wine, smoke the sheesha, and have cheese Hors' Devours....We finished off the rest of the weekend sipping coffee at our local coffee pub and doing quite a bit of hiking. I look forward to her next visit have a great weekend and thanks for looking!-Aaron
It seems the "hip" thing nowadays is to have your watch dangling off your wrist, which would annoy me to no end. While I don't like mine ridiculously tight, I do like them firmly on my wrist. You?
What do I look for in terms of the case, size, bracelet, movement, dial, et el. Pictures would be helpful, along with their related model numbers. Thank you guys!
I am wondering is the 116520 904L? Are there any years when it was 316?
