- Beautiful watch but could not see the hands to tell the time. Was struggling with it turning it this way and that trying to get the light to hit it the correct way. Had to send back.

- It looks good and expensive.I actually bought it to my Mom and believe she will like it. My only concern is whether the gold color of the metal bracelet will change in time.

Patek Philippe 5130 P wrist watches news:
On a rainy Monday night in New York City, HODINKEE welcomed over 30 of our friends and readers to the F.P.Journe boutique for an evening of drinks, dinner, and spirited conversation about some of the finest, and most interesting watches being made today. Click through for a photo report of our celebration of F.P.Journe. 2 OF 38 Every time we host an event with a manufacture, we aim to invite a nice mix of seasoned collectors and new, but interested parties. This way, experienced owners can communicate their passion for the brand to those looking to make their first purchase. In the case of F.P.Journe, those experienced owners just happen to be some of the most die-hard fans of any brand out there. 3 OF 38 While not every guest owned a Journe, there were some absolutely incredible pieces present on the wrists of attendees. This includes one of ten T10 Anniversary Tourbillons, a black label Tourbillon Souverain (which was actually picked up by our guest on the
Does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on a pair of original hands for this Hamilton? The replacements don't do it justice. I believe the subseconds hand is still original.
Friend just picked up a Navatimer (?) with a slide rule. He got it off the big internet auction site, he's not a WIS but he didn't taken too badly. Long story short, no instructions. I did some digging for him and it appears to have what they call the inverted sliderule, C CI scale (?). Any and all help would be appreciated. I realize being a WIS the model # would help, so I'll see if I can come up with it if need be, thanks.
Would of loved to own an Original, but this is as close as I'm gonna get. Longines Legend Diver. I've always been a fan of the 2 crowns & super compressor case. This IMO is as close to the original rendition as possible, would of preferred an acrylic crystal too but I'm way happy.Love the internal bi-directional diving bezel amazing how easily these crowns are to manipulate. The real wood presentation box far exceeds much higher priced timepieces. Movement is a Longines caliber L633 (ETA2824-2), 28.800 bph, 38 hours of power reserve22mm Strap that is incl.is way comfy made of a synthetic material (like sail cloth straps) that comes w/ the watch the underside has a lining of a felt-like material..& @ the sweet spot of 42mm.I'm ALL goodLove the caseback w/ the little diver dude on it.Enough babbling hereThanks for taking a peek & reading my long winded post but I feel like 10 yr old boy who just received his first kiss
i was looking for any pics of ETA assembly, especially quartz assembly. i was just wondering if anyone knew where i can find a factory tour or something along the same lines.
