- This watch is very durable. It is exactly as described and looks very good on. The watch band is quite long and needs to be adjusted to fit. I had to remove 4 segments though it was very tricky. The depth of the face is too thick for my taste (about 1/2 inch). Overall, it is a quality duct.

- Love the watch, had it for about two years now and no troubles until I fell and broke the band when it hit a rock. New band is about $100.00.

U-Boat 1215 wrist watches news:
Ready for some new "Glashutte crack?" That is the term I just came up with to describe a fresh, difficult-to-resist, German tool watch from Glashutte. This one is from Muhle Glashutte is the new Small Second version of their popular M 29 Classic watch. Inspired by a historic Robert Muhle instrument, the M 29 Classic is really just that, an instrumental-inspired wrist watch that is elegant, yet satisfies your utility hunger. When looking for something simple, clean, and Germanic, I have to say that I am much more drawn to designs such as this than say, the popular Bauhaus look that people look for at Nomos. The neighborhood competitors make a fine watch, but it is difficult to beat the sheer functional DNA that a piece like the M 29 Small Second watch has. I don't even think pieces were ready by the time these pictures were released. Look closely and it appears that someone took an image of the standard M 29 with a central seconds hand and digitally changed it to make space for the subsi
Well it seems that not too long ago I was posting these...After a short while, with the forum's help, I was able to do this....and eventually manage to do this before and after...Then I began getting inspired and started taking pictures like this...and this...of course, young, dumb and inspired, who could forget this....(what was I thinking!!!)all in good fun though....I also messed around like this...I remember really enjoying this one...could this joke have been a sign of things to come? (dipsy)...Then, after moving to Brazil, things really took off.The GMT became this...and this...After going through many many different watches, and evolving in photo taking skills with pointers and inspiration from forum members I learned to take pictures like these....And had lots of fun while recently documenting this...Finally I've settled on these. I apologize for the poor photos, but I took them at night and the lighting was very poor. I wanted to keep them, however, as accurate as possible, wi
I know this subject has come up before and it did not carry the day. I know some of you also know I was involved in one of these with another forum. Which despite the nay sayers that said it could not be done. It indeed was done. Now many of you will recall the very nice Edouard Lauzieres Eldiamante that was a part of a very popular watch photo contest recently here. Because of this contest a few of our fellow members and of course John Holbrook got to see the watch first hand. So how many of you would be interested in a special Edouard Lauzieres wtf forum watch? Now I have not discussed this with anyone else here or even with EL for that matter. It's an idea that just popped into my head and I was curious to know if this would be a popular idea here. The price would of course depend on the type of watch that was selected. You can bet it would cost quite a bit less than the standard prices. So who thinks this might be an interesting idea? Hey guys, I am looking for feedback and thoughts on a 328. I have an opportunity to pick one up from a friend and was hoping to hear feedback from owners. Anyone give me any insight on it as well as real world street value?
As some of you already know, I have been torn over finding my one and only Rolex that I hope to purchase in the next few months. I am looking for versatility in whatever watch I buy. I'm in a suit at least once a week and in jeans/button up shirt the rest of the week. I like the DJII, but I'm not sure if it will dress down too well with shorts and a t shirt. But, I like the silver dial, as opposed to the black. I also like the date function. On the other hand, I'm digging the chromalight lume, brushed bracelet, oysterlock clasp, and WG Arabic numerals on the Exp I. One thing I think I will miss is the date complication if I choose the Explorer. For those of you who may own both, what are your thoughts? Too many good choices out there!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
