As I understand it, in metallurgy stainless steel is defined as an iron-carbon alloy with a minimum of 11.5 wt% chromium content. According to wiki, it is said that stainless steel does not stain, corrode or rust as easily as ordinary steel (it "stains less"), but it is not stain-proof.I do wish it was stain proof since to call it stainless as opposed to stain-less does give the impression that it is relatively stain proof, which it isn't.Why am I having a minor rant? Omega 2254.50 discounts?
Talked to an AD at the Tourneau in Atlantic City, NJ yesterday concerning a 2254.50. He didn't have one in stock but told me he would have one in on Tuesday for me (with no obligation on my part). What kind of discounts have others received on Omegas? I'm thinking of asking 10% as I'm going to have to make a second trip since he didn't have it in stock. Am I out of line?
