A couple years ago I spent money on motorcycle stuff. I own two very cool motorcycles and a couple scooters. They are fun to drive, for the most part, if you get out of the city and find some nice winding country roads. But the real cool thing about motorcycles is riding up to the local motorcycle bar where you can show it off to other enthusiasts. If you have Italian stuff, like me, and it is a little rare, you can get a nice little crowd around to talk to. That was always fun.So there is a hobby that you can actually ride and get a little kick from. But it has some drawbacks: maintenance, storage, cops, tickets, repair, broken bones, smashed teeth etc.So now I'm into watches. I like that they are very low maintenance. You still need some insiders to show them off to - like most hobbies.I think collecting watches is a lot like collecting marbles or Faberg¨¦ Eggs. My new Clerc CXX diver was waiting by the door when I got home from work at 1:30 am last night - long, long day  - but my WTF Limited Edition was merely a postal pick up ticket. And talk about fast shipping (for $1.99 too) - I ordered on Sunday afternoon and got it Tuesday.Admittedly, I didn't spend a long time looking at the Clerc. But I did open the box, of course.Very quick impressions: Thick chunky head, very good fit and finish, nice bracelet - but I'm not sure how well it will hug the wrist. Lume seemed decent.I'll post pix and more impressions soon.
Is there a thread with all the different limited edition ROOs? If not, perhaps we can start one! Would love to see all the different limited editions... please post a pic of yours if you happen to be a lucky owner of any of them or if you have a pic of it to share. I'm relatively new to AP so would love to learn about the limited edition versions for the ROO line. This past weekend I was fortunate enough to handle this one.
