Repair Advice
Just recently got snagged by the watch bug. My Dad gave me an Omega when I graduated from HS 40 odd years ago, but I lost it in college. Since I'm getting sentimental in my old age, I decided to pick one up and then another came alongbut I don't have to tell you guys about that . So, right now I now have two '80s quartz Seamasters, one dress and one diver. Each has a glitch or two so I am looking for a good reference for someone to go over them, who has a commitment to Omegas and what I imagine can be a parts chase at times. Thanks for any help with this.

I am contemplating buying a 5167a. It was sold in 2007 so I will assume 11 years old. It has never been serviced, but keeping excellent time. So there is the dilemma. Do I send it back to PP for service, will cost at least $1k and be without it for 6 months? If it ain¡¯t broke so don¡¯t fix it? I have no experience with Patek so I need some expert experience. Thanks.
