U-Boat 6157 wrist watches news:
My fianc¨¦ and I are thinking of buying each other Rolex watches , and wanted to do so before a price increase. Any word on when and if an increase is coming....?Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Meant to post about it here, but mistakenly put it in the General discussion forum.Anyway, found another Lord Elgin with the 760 movement and just got it back from my watch guy. Serviced, new mainspring, and cleaned up a bit...Overall it is in great shape. The back has an inscription, but I think the condition of the rest of the watch makes up for that. One thing though, is that the only band I had that would fit 16mm lugs was a Speidel and I'm not really liking it with the watch. A fellow forum member posted this LE with a band that I really like. Anyone know where to get something similar? Here are some pics...
Morning all, just acquired a SandY 660 with the stainless case. I have a quick question, it has the American Flag on the dial, I haven't found any other stainless 660's with the flag dial, I've only seen the the resin case models with the flag on the dial. Was the flag just an addition to the aesthetics or is there more to it?
Just in case you missed it.https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=576908__________________
Hi guys, still playing with the idea of what to buy next.... I have a couple of options however also some ''struggles'' to go with one or each other. Some models i just simply don't like, a Explorer would be another great option but i have to go with the 40mm and i just don't like ''older'' watches, cause i buy them for myself only, and i don't like another his history on my wrist. If you could only own 2 rolexes, would a GMT master 2 with the black bezel and a 114060 no date make a good combo ? I know it is a bit boring perhaps, but the green hands, the date window the bezel and center links + green letters on dial and different functions makes it quite a different watch to me... and a plus point is that my girlfriend can wear one of them while we are out and makes a nice ''couple'' watch in 1.... Well at least, that is what i think... But i guess i would get negative comments of you guys as i guess you will find it to boring for just a 2 piece collection?Any pro's?Any con's?Would i be
