- This watch in very cute but not for people with writs. It is way too and cannot be adjusted unless you puncture holes in the band.

Ulysse Nardin 243-22B/30-02 wrist watches news:
In the middle, the pattern changes to look like a race track curve, a bit like a flag, or perhaps the Microsoft Windows logo (surely the latter). The 44-45mm wide case came in titanium or steel and was made in the 'carbon fiber' era (as I call it). In terms of case size, I am not totally sure, but I think the gold model was a bit larger than the titanium model. The bezel on the top and sides are all inlaid nicely with carbon fiber. This also applied to the chronograph pusher housings on sides of the watch. The chronograph pushers on this model were originally meant to look like gas pedals, but have since been used so much that forget their original theme. I love the woven stitching on the alligator strap. Supposed to look like a racing suit, but (especially on the titanium model) reminds me of a Spiderman web.
Have an appointment later with my financial advisor. Must impress him with my frugality (snicker, snicker!!)Note:the autumnal equinox began last night (September 22) at 10:29 EDT,but that comes out to 0229 Sept. 23 GMT so according to universal time I'm OK.
First off let me say that this watch is a thing of Beauty....OMG. I like it very much on the rubber strap. It has a nice heft to it. I have not gotten a chance to really get a very close look with the hand lens yet, but my heart is aflutter looking at it. I am at the GF house so I don't have my camera and mini tripod to take some better shots yet. . Let me saythis is one Badass looking watch. In this cae, those who put their collective noses up at Quartz just don't understand what they are missing with this one. I especially like that the strap is a tang buckle and does not need to be cut. I'll post later after I have better pics and some more comments. [IMG][/IMG]
26326STJust thought I'd share my recent catch, the Royal Oak Chronograph Tribute to Italy. Although I liked it on the rubber strap, my plan all along was to buy a bracelet for it, because, well, Royal Oak!That Panda goodnessSomehow I didn't take a distance shot with the rubber, but here is a closeup. To me this dial is a little like the Paul Newman of ROCs.
If, and it might be a big if, the new releases include a new SS 'Coke'.What effect will this have, long term or short term, on current used GMT values? As a supplementry question, what is the usual time scale for the arrival in (UK)AD's of new, Basel releases?
