- The size of face is perfect. Love the gold and silver colors and leather strap. Lights up real bright. Has a very elegant but sporty look. Very easy to see in light or dark. The numbers on the outer edge is very unique.

Well after over a year of waiting for funds and dithering about which watch to buy I've finally decided. It was eventualy a choice between the JLC Master RDM in SS or a Rolex TT RG DJI asked for advice and got it.The comments on here were very much for the JLC, which surprised me as there is a Rolex forum here but not a JLC ???My wife thinks that strap watches don't suit me but she's going on a cheap Fossil chrono I'm wearing until I replace the Sea Dweller that's now sold and gone The JLC looks stunning IMO so I have to accept that my wife preferred the Rolex then again she's not wearing it and is happy if I'm happy she's basing her opinion on this picture...But I reckon she'll change her mind once she's seen it on my wrist.I hope so because I've just ordered it and paid a deposit over the phone :-*There's no stock at JLC UK so I'm getting a brand new freshly made one Be about 3-4 weeks, I've waited over a year so what's another month I'll post pics when I get it but for now here's pi
Hi All,I bought my 9th watch yesterday (I really don't need it - what a funny and expensive hobby this is turning out to be)? When looking at my collection I wondered how many other people collect like me? I think subconsciously I like so many different watches out there that I can hardly bear to buy another of the same make before I go ahead and get one from a manufacturer that I haven't purchased from? I know a lot of people buy the same kind of watches (divers, chronographs as two common examples) and sometimes collectors buy lots of the same type from the same manufacturer as well. Of course it is each to their own but I can't seem to collect this way.I was wondering how many other people either collect like me - or intend to collect like I do in the future.I will post some pictures for anyone that is interested:
I love looking at my black dial wg Daytona. But when I wear it I just cant read it. I am thinking of selling it and buying an AP Panda with the red stitch black hornback strap. My only problem is I feel I'm giving up a wg watch for a ss one. Even though I will net some cash, I have never traded down before. Of course I will buy what sings to me but has anyone ever given this consideration when trading?
my little friend!
