Ulysse Nardin 326-82/31 wrist watches news:
I selected my D Freemont Sapphire. This is an outstanding value for a very well made watch. Featuring a GMT-92 movement (ETA 2892 with ETA power reserve and GMT complication), it is one of the best values in a dressier watch for under 1000 dollars. The straps are a little stiff, but at the prices charged by Freemont, I am glad to buy an aftermarket strap.A great watch, timed by the owner, a master watchmaker.
Just posted this in another thread but maybe it warrants a new one? Thought I'd see if I could cobble together a reasonably accurate picture comparing the lugs of the SubC, GMT-II Pepsi, and SD4K. It's not perfect but I used several reference points as guides. I do see the difference between the Sub and the GMT, subtle though it is – I think this obsessional, comparative view makes the new, slight taper (more) evident. Seems reasonable to think a Sub update would inherit the new GMT case. Who knows? What's really clear is why the SD4K suits my small wrist so much better than the others. Very apparent difference.Anyway, as a relative newbie, wanted to try to give back to the forum!
Hi there - so I¡¯ve reached a point where I need to downsize my collection, but just can¡¯t decide which to keep. My collection right now consists of the 116500LN Black Dial, 16610LV and a speedmaster mitsukoshi dial.If you could keep just one Rolex which would it be?Looking forward to your input!Christophe
accidently made thread 2x. delete please
I am torn. I am looking at getting my second Rolex and I can not decide between a Rolex Submariner Date and No Date. I keep getting drawn to the no date because it seems less common but wonder if I will get annoyed having to pull my phone out to check the date ( I sign a lot of documents). I keep heading into my local AD and they do not have either one in stock which make the decision harder as I have not been able to try one on. Thanks for everyones thoughts.
