Ulysse Nardin 326-22 wrist watches news:
As far as I am concerned the "lost" IWC watch model is the Portofino. Yes, they still made the watch - in at least a few varieties - but you never hear about it. Perhaps this is a function of myself being in the US, but I have yet to see real marketing for the Portofino. It isn't a bad timepiece at all. Over time the IWC Portofino watch has changed, but right here is the basic, entry level Portofino model. There is also a chronograph version in production. In my opinion, the Portofino is the basic, entry level "formal" watch from IWC. It sits close in theme to the Portuguese, but is different. This is a nice watch, but not meant to be a modern watch. It is from a more simple time, when a good watch was easy on the eyes, and drew credibility from a good name on the dial. And there it is, those three letters that are world-know to signify good quality from Schaffhausen - of the only text on the dial. I first really became aware of the Portofino as a good looking classy watch while spendin
Whats up everyone, so I finally broke down with the saint pattys promo at orientwatchusa for 50% off and ordered the world timer. I cant wait!! I have read everything ive been able to find on it and still want more. :) If anyone that owns one feels like sharing first impressions, stories, pics or anything else PLEASE DO :)! Thanks!
It all started when I was ten.( 1977) I remember lusting after a Timex LCD digital watch that my friend Ricky had gotten for this birthday.I had had wind up watches but this was NEW. My dad had always been a pseudo watch guy and recently gotten a Seiko LED watch that amazed everyone.( he still has it)Anyhow for my tenth birthday I got the Timex! I cannot remember not ever wearing a watch since then. The years went on and on Christmas 1984 I got a Seiko quartz TT watch, just like my dad had gotten several months earlier. I was a Senior in high school and it made me feel very adult. In college I ended up dabbling in "fake Gucci" watches for extra dough, HOWEVER, my good friend who supplied these items of question also got a lot of "duty free" Seikos. That was my first auto diver, which was worn for many, many years.About this time I started looking at what I call serious watches, because he ( my friend) wore a real Rolex (as did my boss). I was also a Bond fan and really took a liking
Anyone got a clue?
Good afternoon,Could a more knowledgeable member of the forum help with a how-to re the above ? The watch in question is a 2014 5712/1a. There's nothing in the manual on how to do it and both the search function on here and Google are letting me down.A weblink, or a couple of tips, would be very much appreciated indeed.
