Calling all Paneristi: the first of Panerai’s new crop of watches to be launched at next month’s SIHH watch fair in Geneva has been revealed: it is a split-seconds chronograph in a titanium case, bearing the reference number PAM00530 and the name Luminor 1950 Rattrapante 8 Days Titanio.The watch’s split-seconds chronograph function (also known as a rattrapante) has a vertical clutch and twin column wheels. HiI'm hoping to purchase the automatic version of the Seamaster watch (UK RRP ¡ê2,300) in Leeds within the next few weeks (still haven't decided on black or blue, but thats for me to worry about!!).Through work I can purchase Goldsmiths or Ernest Jones vouchers for less than the face value (90% of value for Goldsmiths, 84% of the value for Ernest Jones).I can use the Goldsmiths vouchers online, this means I **may** also qualify for Quidco (I appreciate that its not guaranteed) at 15% of the VAT free price (i.e. 15% of ¡ê1,840).Based on this I have crudely worked out that the Seamaster through goldsmiths online would cost me just under ¡ê1,800.This was my preferred method, but I would appreciate advice on the potential instore discount I could get with Ernest Jones (the vouchers with EJ are paper, and therefore can not be used online). If the instore discount is likely to be greater than c7% then the EJ route would be cheaper (although I have no real track record of negotiating with shop s

Sorry Ken, this one's not for you Hi everyone, this is a thread for those who have or want to limit themselves to 4 pieces maximum, as proned by the CEO and gourou of the 3-4 watches philosophy company Jorge It would be nice to post what are your 1 to 4 models, 4 beeing the ultimate limit not to cross, and if possible for some who had more but who now are going for the 3-4 theory, what are the reasons that brought them to going to this quantity.As for me I thought I would be happier with more, but as it turns out no on the contrary, I found it more stressful to have more than 3-4, seeing that 70% of them were just staying in the bank safe and not getting any wrist time.So please tell us your experiences, with pics if possible of your personnal holy trinity, foursome, trio or unique piece, oh and it doesn't have to be a Patek in them, I posted on the PP sub forum since my favorite in my trio is the 5712, but no obligations to have a PP in the list..Here's for mine, with lighter combinat
