Ulysse Nardin Ulysse Nardin 51645 wrist watches news:
This year Zenith has released a whole new group of new watches, including the new El Primero 36,000 VPH Classic Cars chronograph with newly finished dial. The brand is making a point to keep their prices conservative and this piece is no different, at just under $7,000. 1 OF 2 The Zenith EL Primero 36,000 VPH was originally released at Baselworld 2013. The watch was a huge hit and continues to be one of their most popular models. The original 42 mm stainless-steel chrono featured the traditional tri-color dial with El Primero automatic caliber 400 B movement. This year's release features the same case with the same movement but totally new dial. 2 OF 2 The new dial is an anthracite tri-color dial that features brushed engine "Geneva stripes." The subsidiary dials remain the traditional light gray, dark gray, and blue. This watch is incredibly cool in person and maintains the cool factor that we so loved by the original 36,000 VPH.This watch retails for $6,9
Next in the collectionFrom the TOP 10Most "Collectible" Illinois Wrist Watches.#3 The 1929 "Chieftain"***GangThis is a thread that I have been wanting to Update for a LONG time!***As I have mentioned before, sometimes you buy a watch and wait years for the proper dial in MINTConditionI finally found one with Stan.I also found perhaps, the best example of a Yellow Gold Filled Chieftain on the planet.FRONT OLD DIAL:NEW DIAL:YELLOW GOLD FILLED:2 SHOT:The first thing you notice is the beautiful beefy "Indian" themed case...The shape of this unmistakable design unfortunately made this watch very suseptable to "case wear," and to find an example without "brassing" is rare. The 1929-1930 Illinois Watch Company Catalogue described the watch:"This unusually designed case of 14k filled white or natural (yellow) gold is fitted with a fine 15 jeweled movement with full figure luminous dial. USA Tomahawks are playing Australia in the Rugby League World Cup on Sunday Morning Aussie time. I think they are playing a Semi final which is an awesome effort. There run is akin to Australia playing in the NFL playoffs.I'm a devout Kangaroos fan, but part of me wants them to win. Go the Tomahawks!!
Hi All,I'm just curious but what kind of accuracy can I expect from a self winding mechanical watch? Thanks in advance,Bob
Got back last night from Alaska-Canada trip. On return found computer modem shot, HDTV bulb burned out; no other disasters. Modem replaced this afternoon, bulb will be next week. Took just under 1,000 photos! Wife bought a new watch - some dual time thingie that is also supposed to send out "earth signals" or some such nonsense to cool your psychic jets or vibes or nerves. Can't remember the name - Philip Roth or is it Stein? Anyhow, it's a yawner for me. Trip was great. Details to come, with pics.
