A question of taste, but maybe some guidance: 5146G or J. Advice please.
Hi Everyone! New to the forum. Within the last year I've gotten the PP bug after being an Explorer II wearer for 10 years. Started with the jumbo steel Aquanaut then just bought the 5130G. The 5130G is spectacular but darn, I do need a date. So, have set my sights on the 5146. I can't tell from the pics but is there a difference between the two dial and strap colors other than the obvious? Plus, I wear a platinum wedding bandis that a huge clash with the yellow? Does the yellow look TOO flash? I know, it's all a question of taste, but when we're talking taste at this level, all opinions count.Sincere thanks! -Ben

Ok so yesterday my Sister had asked me about watches she never does lol, She wants to buy one for her BF but he wants a Movado part of the sapphire collection but the thing is she can't drop a cool $ 1,500 dollars and top of that his job is'nt fit to wear an expensive watch, So do you guy's have any suggestions on watches that look like the Movado sapphire collection he my sisters BF really like's the mirror finish dial, She wants to stay in the $ 100 to 150 dollar range.

I have a chance to get a LE Speedmaster, one of the 50th ones (the 5957 run)It comes with everything but the presentation box which has the patch... I have found some others (complete), but they are close to the same price to $400 more...Is it worth it in the long run to have the full kit? I do tend to flip after a while... Rolex 16550 1991 Service Dial
Hi, trying to get some info on a ROLEX Explorer 2, bought in 1991, but dated 1998. It has the fat font bezel, full Rolex service in 2008 but the dial is very white and has 'Swiss Made' in the bottom. From other watches i've seen most have the Swiss T <25 dial.Does this mean that the watch has a service dial??Presume that lowers the cost!
