I just traded a beat up Tag Heuer for a NIB Hamilton Khaki Action Automatic Chrono. I give all that info bacause I want to know if someone can tell me what the tiny "350" that is printed on the dial below the 6 indicator means. Is it a dial / face reference number?
The only way to keep a watch in pristene condition and unmarked is to never wear it.I realize that many WIS are extremely protective of their watches and even wipe them down after a day of rigorous wear under cuffs at the office but let's face it, if you wear it it will look worn!!The other day I wore my Seiko Kinetic Diver (yellow dial) and as I disengaged my seatbelt, the belt buckle whacked the watch and I got a nice bezel scratch. It looks good!!!There are plenty of perfect watches to look at -at the AD.I like the fact that mine will eventually show signs of appreciation.Back to topic. How have you dinged or scratched your watches?
Hello all-About to buy an Omega Speedmaster, and have some questions in regards to the chronometer (large looking second hand that can stay off or be pushed on). Can I let it run all the time? I was thinking I¡¯d just let it run while awake, but then push it off when I go to sleep. It will be a co-axial movement. Any thoughts or concerns on the matter would be appreciated. Thank you!
I love the Aquanaut and will own one some day, but I've been looking at the GO Seventies Panorama Date which is about half the price of the 5167 and has many similarities IMO. I'm not going to say that the GO is nearly as amazing a watch as the 5167, but it is still a wonderful piece. And the gray dialed GO on rubber especially seems very similar to the Aquanaut IMO. Similar case shape, simple design, sporty yet classy aesthetic, very versatile. Am I crazy in thinking that the two pieces are similar? Do you guys think it's a worthy alternative for some time until I decide to move into a much higher price range which the PP is in? Thanks guys.Sent from my Nexus 7 using TapatalkPics from the interweb
