Ulysse Nardin 246-92b-8m/600 wrist watches news:
Jean-Claude Biver has been quick to action as the new CEO at TAG Heuer ¨C restructuring the brand, introducing new Carrera models, announcing an exceptionally economical tourbillon watch, and soon, the brand’s own smartwatch. Learn more in this exclusive interview conducted at Baselworld by R¨¹diger Bucher, editor-in-chief of WatchTime’s German sister magazine, Chronos.RB: Mr. Biver, what is your strategy for TAG Heuer?JCB: The strategy remains the same. Only a certain amount of creativity and development has been shifted from the upper segment to our core business area. We’re making a shift by redistributing our forces.RB: Where does TAG Heuer have its core business?JCB: In the price range between 2,000 and 5,000 Swiss francs. We’ve invested the most in this price range. Let me show you something. (He shows me the new Carrera Calibre Heuer 01.)RB: Will this be the new look for the Carrera?JCB: Yes. This is the look of the future. All the Carreras will eventually
Today is a very big day for us Patek Philippe lovers ¨C it is the day that this great Genevan company will unveil its celebratory timepieces for its 175th birthday. I am in Geneva to cover this at length when the curtain lifts later tonight, but before we get to that, I thought today was as good a day as any to show you a little something special. Since starting HODINKEE over six years ago, I've gotten to see some incredibly important, and rare, timepieces. Pieces like split-seconds chronographs from Rolex, an Hermes-signed Paul Newman Daytona, a unique chronometer grade Patek owned by a disgraced Texas attorney (and NOT by the guy from Fight Club, ever), and even a platinum 2499 owned by Eric Clapton. I've seen the first Grand Complication ever made by Patek Philippe, and more than a few mega-timepieces owned by the most important timepiece collector in history, New York banker Henry Graves Jr. But the one dream watch that I hadn't been able to touch in the metal was in fact the dreami
Just when I was absolutely sure which Omega to buy, I start hanging out here more and see all those beautiful Speedies posted every day. I was ready to pull the trigger on a Seamaster, but man, those Speedmasters are starting to whisper my name!
Hi all, I have just received the watch today Sat, that I had posted about earlier asking about the Hamilton 691 movement.. Excuse my photos,T'was done with my web cam,I'm gonna have to break down and buy a Dig camera. The watch looks very good. In three hrs of wearing,it's spot on so far.. Albeit tooooo early to tell, any great movement running stories yet. I have two questions, about the movement... The last question will be at the bottom, and it's about a concern that I have noticed, after receiving the watch... It's kinda scary.... First..I have a question about this micro rotor movement, that some of you may be able to help me with... I need to know about the hand winding option on this particular movement. Yes,I know it can be hand wound,I gave it a few turns (about ten) just to get it going this morning. I own a couple of 7750's,and a few 2824's.. Both of these movements have a safety feature (if you will) built in to help prevent a broken watch from too much winding... Can
My Invicta 0420 with the NH35A movement is running 2 secs fast in a 48 hr period.I'm very pleased.I wear her during the day and put her on the dresser crown down at night. The lume stinks, otherwise I'd wear her at night also. This is not an expensive watch,so would it be smart or stupid to have a good lume job done.
