I just want to thank WTF for all the knowledge I've gain. This forum is really great and very friendly. I knew my Seiko Spirit wasn't going be my only watch. My heart was set on a Pilot watch. While Stowa, Sinn, Archimede, and etcetc all make fine time pieces. The Steinhart won my heart in the end. I honestly would never thought I would make this purchase so soon. I was lucky enough to pick up a few extra hours at work. The watch should be here this weekend (In time for the Saints game me hope.) I'll take some pictures on the arrival. So here are some borrow pics for the mean time :

The price is $5800 and has everything including the origional receipt showing not much more than what I would be paying. I could buy 2 rolexes for this price. We are very aware of the Pateks quality and prestige and the understatement we are looking for. Again, not an investment, just a amature wanting to know is it worth it, and will it hold its value? Not something I will sell, something we will pass to our daughter. Thanks.I know the people on the Patek board are bery sensitive to the word "investing". I'm selling a Tudor right now and the buyer is located in Zurich, Switzerland (I'll be shipping it from Texas). I've never shipped internationally before and am a bit nervous about it. For those that regularly ship internationally, which carrier would you recommend? I'd like to be able to insure the package, but I've heard there are insurance limits on international shipping. Is that somewhat accurate?Thank you in advance for the help.
