Omega 2813.30.81 wrist watches news:
Could anyone tell me the weight of the Speedmaster Broad Arrow co-axial, 42mm?Thanks
Last week I took my vintage GMT Master 1675 to my AD to send to Rolex. It has been about eight years and it was loosing time. Rolex called today with a price. $700.00 for the basic service $113.00 insurance both ways, and 6% PA sales tax. Would you believe they than recommended I replace the dial, hands and bezel for just another $735.00. They are faded. They don;t return ant parts they replace either. IMO it devalues the watch to replace all the above mentioned appearance items.
My wife is looking at an Hermes Dual Time Cape Cod watch. The back has CC3-210 at the top and a serial number across the bottom 1855694. Something doesn't look right there. Anybody know how to tell if it's a fake?
Happy Yom Kippur you'all. Decided to wear my diving watch tonight so I could dive in some good pastrami and horseradishsorry about the bad pun. Ok, I hear the pastrami calling.
Forgive my naivety, but WHY are AP and Patek watches a league higher than Rolex or Breitling?Thank you for your responses.
