Watch companies are getting keen on blogging. Maybe I have shown them a good example? Different watch brands are experimenting with various ways of doing it, but the best approach is something like Linde Werdelin has done. Sure they could have more posts up and spend more time on it, but they are doing a good job so far with their new blog that details not only the development of Linde Werdelin watches, but the lifestyle that goes with Linde Werdelin watches from the maker and owner standpoint. From your seat you generally only see the "finished product" and the fancy marketing photos that come from the secret watch making lairs - often in Europe. But who are these people? And how serious are they about all the claims they make such as "sport watch" or "1000 meters water resistance." I made a series of terrible mistakes yesterday...1 - I went into a jewelry store at a local mall when I saw they carried a good assortment of Seiko.2 - I took off my Orange Monster and started trying some different things on including some Ananto models.3 - Worst of all, I tried on a couple of Spring Drive models. One in particular caught my eye and kept me coming back. The feel of the watch on my wrist was excellent and the glide of the second hand was enthralling. There was a mirror directly behind the counter and the owner wisely had me look in the mirror to see the wrist presence of the piece. Hi folks,Not an AP owner yet...This watch came up in a local sale website and no information was given other than an asking price. Can someone here identify the watch and model number so I can check it out? I don't know if it's a fake or not so please be gentle. I do very much like the look so any help from experts here is appreciated.I would also appreciate a ballpark figure for the value and service costs as it could be an old watch.Many thanks!
