- Wanted the black and gold but was sold out in store and online. I saw this one black and silver with the color dial and couldn't resist buying it. It's comfortable, nice size face and versatile. I love it!!

Vacheron Constantin 47031/000P-8956 wrist watches news:
This is my first post, I just couldn't find where to post this type of question and hopefully I'm in the right branch.I have replaced batteries before on several watches; some use the snap off tool, some use screws, and some others use the crab tool to unscrew the back. But these two watches are the first ones I have seen that don't seem to fall under any of them. At first I thought it was a snap off, but I cannot seem to find a notch or a tab on there. Is there another way to open these watches that I don't know of?Thanks.

As some of you guys know I just picked up my first royal oak.. It is a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Day-Date Moonphase 36 mm 25594ST/O/0789ST/05 and I love it...the watch was bought new buy the guy I bought it from in 2003 and he had it on a winder or his wrist so it was always running , or so he says.. The watch was never serviced but it is keepin GREAT time so I am thinking to wait before dropping $1k on service and polish.. I believe I read somewhere that they will not polish without doing a maintence on the watch, is this correct?I also read about people NOT polishing watches because it takes away from the value on certain brands, does this also pertain to the royal oak? This watch scratches very easy and I probably put more Scratches on it in a week then the original owner did in 8 years.. So would getting it polished take away from the value of the watch? I am not looking to sell it anytime soon but will probably one day for a 39mm chrono royal oak..( I love the Apref 26300ST.OO.1
Hey all, I've been eyeing the PO (black dial, bezel, with SS) for a while, but can't decide whether I should go for the 42mm or 45mm. Any advice/suggestions/thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
I was pretty set on picking up a 116610LN, but got a call this afternoon saying a BLNR was available if I wanted it instead. I¡¯ve never paid much attention to this watch and won¡¯t have the ability to see it before purchase (Out of state AD), so I had a couple quick questions..1. Is the dial on the BLNR deep glossy black (similar to the sub), or Matte black (similar to the Explorer). 2. Do you find the bezel writing a bit too large/busy on the BLNR in person? Kind of a weird question, I know, but I hated how the 1166110LN cyclops looked in pictures but found it visually interesting in person. 3. I own a GS Snowflake, Rolex Daytona 116500, and Rolex Explorer 1. Would you add a 116610LN or BLNR?
