I couldn't avoid the temptation to make a direct comparison between two great watches, having worn my YG/SS Datejust II for a week now and owning a YG/SS Datejust before. I hope that I would not get the ire of the traditionalists who continue to prefer the 36mm to the new 41mm, and to the few who hold the view that the ideal dresswatch size is something in between.It started when I went to visit the Rolex boutique here in Manila and first saw it among the DJs, Subs, GMTs, etc. My first impression is that the YG/SS DJII clearly stood out among its peers. In fact, I remember thinking that because of the enormous presence of the DJII in the display racks, it would be just be a matter of time that Rolex will introduce a 43-44mm Daytonas, Subs and GMTs. As a guy with 81/2 wrist size, it would clearly be the most exciting period in my quest to collect more timepieces.Wearing the DJII gives me immeasurable pleasure. Hi all, Has anyone seen the new blue color dial that will replace the current power blue dial on the 116613 TT Sub? I saw it in Orlando, its a Little like the old metalic blue dial, except its not as deep colored.. More like the blue on the new rolesium yacht master.. Ed

I thought I made the trade of the century!!Panerai luminor..gorgeous!!So, Im wearing it..we walk into a dark resteraunt, im swinging this thing onmy arm with severe pride!! I look down because its glowing like a fire fly!!Just the hands...bummer!! The numbers are not glowing, just the hands!I was heart broke!! couldnt even eat!! Sitting there staring at the menu, knowing..I JUST GOT GOT!!! Im now the proud owner of the finest copy Ive ever seen.

This year is my 10th anniversary of my divorce. I celebrate every June by buying myself something pretty cool. So, I heard about this new watch from STOWA during this year's Baselworld and put in an order late spring for a late May/early June delivery. I thought, "Perfect!" Well, it's late July but hey, I finally got it. Since it was a brand new model but not a limited edition, I contacted STOWA if I could have number #63 (my birthyear) and was told that I could. I was ecstatic!
