Service Question
I just purchased a 1996 Seamaster a couple of weeks ago and noticed that it's running very slowly when set to the US atomic clock and its power reserve is a joke (way off of 44 hours.) When I have the funds to get it properly serviced, I'd like to do it the right way. Should I get it serviced at Ben Bridge (an AD) or should I have it sent to the Omega Authorized Service Center in Dallas? Also, what's a ballpark figure I should expect for them adjusting the timing and the like? (I'm hoping it doesn't need a new mainspring.)

My 3rd Audemars Piguet on the way
Hello,Some may remember I previously had a ROO Rubberclad and a BumbleeBee, sold them and went with a more conservative lineup. Well for the past few months I had a Royal Oak itch that needed scratching and finally after reviewing the lineup and doing some research I just negotiated with a well known seller on the boards to get me a AP 15202st.AP as a brand is more the style I like and still prefer it to PP when it comes to sports watches, I gave the nautilus a try and not emotionally connected to the dial nor the bezel. After 2 years of no Audemars Piguet on my wrist I am now awaiting my new special piece which is a 15202st Royal Oak 40th anniversary extra thin.I wouldnt of thought I would go for simple style watches a couple of years back where I had ROO's. A 180 degree turn as they say in collection.Previously:Panerai 339 Marina Militaire Composite CeramicAP BumbleBeeAP ROO RubberClad.Zenith Defy Classic 2 tone.Now:Breguet Marine Big Date SSRolex Daytona 116520Rolex GMT2 16710 stick

Annoyed about AD experience
Hello everyone,I¡¯m new to the forum and Rolexes in general.I have always wanted to start a real collection of these luxury watches and both my wife and I have been very fortunate to receive huge promotions recently which now allow this to become reality. For my first Rolex I really want a BLNR and also concurrently want to get my wife a new Diamond Tag Heuer Carrera. (I know!! BUT she has her heart set on this model when she saw it.) I also want to get her, her first Rolex for our anniversary. I want to be put on the list for a 43 mm sea dweller for myself and a Daytona C for my father as a thank you for all he has done for me in my earlier years to help me get where I am today. Anyways, armed with vast knowledge from TRF as I have been lurking the last year or so yesterday I set out to go try and make deal(s) happen at all of my close dealers to see stock and overall friendliness and try to develop a relationship but quickly realized that this is going to be a lot harder than I
