Fun.........With Bund
It is believed the Bund strap was designed in the 1960's and was fitted to the Heuer chronographs supplied to the Luftwaffe ( German Air Force ). It may have been adapted from the WWI "Pershing strap". I have a couple of Bund straps in my collection and recently fitted them to two Christopher Ward C5 Malvern Aviator/Pilot watches. The C5 is 38mm and uses a 18mm strap. I have found Bund straps to be extremely comfortable, and I believe they tend to give a smaller watch more wrist presence. If you use Bunds on any of your watches, please feel free to post pictures and descriptions to this thread.Here are a couple of shots of the straps fitted on the C5.

it's amost february. i have heard that prices will increase in the uk. what is the situation in the us and europe? it seems to me that under the new economy the dollar is going down in value latter. is the new price list for patek 2009 in the usa already available

Hello,I recently purchased a circa 1940 Rodeny in a solid 14k coral (pink) gold case. the watch has 982 caiber movement and it is pretty nice. These old pink gold watches were popular for awhile...in hamilton's case, WWII intervened before they could make too many and they focused on making military chronometers thereafter. You don't see many of the hamilton coral watches around, especially in solid gold. I am waiting for a Hamilton Rutledge in platinum to show up in the mail...nice because it isn't engraved on the caseback and the case doesn't havethe knocks and dings that even platinum can get. I also have a vintage Patek Philippe 96 that is at the watch-maker's getting overhauled. So, my watch riches runneth over at the moment!

Hello Gentleman, I am new to the game and I am just starting to get a hold of pricing, deals, and actual value. I was wondering over your collecting career what is the best deal you've ever gotten on a watch (and possibly where if you remember that)? It doesn't really count if you had a watch given to you or maybe bought a watch from a close buddy that gave you a real inside deal.

In your own opinion, why do you think the Ulysee Nardin Michelangelo is so cheap?
