1970s Pulsar electronics work-around?
Hoping for some advice and creative thinking for my Hamilton Pulsar P-2 "Astronaut" LED from the early 1970s. (You know: The one Roger Moore wore as James Bond 007 in Live and Let Die.)Batteries for it, I'm told, are no longer made. But putting that aside for a moment....Does anyone have advice on how I might power the watch up on the bench using an alternative source, and, if so, what that source might be (voltage, et cetera)? I'm interested in clipping or soldering something in for working w/ the caseback off. Also, given that power wouldn't necessarily be limited, would there be a way to make the display always on? If so, risk of damage to the circuits, et cetera?Thanks!

A habit I could get use to, but need to learn good habits...
I don't do shoes, not much into buying clothes, but I think I feel an addiction coming on.It is however very disconcerting that I do not see any/many women in here. Are watches really that male dominated???I also hope this is not a US only site, I am in Australia/Perth. Have been browsing many recent threads and am in love with so many beautiful watches. The Vintage watches have certainly caught my attention and I did not realise how many beautiful watches have been created in years gone by. I see a few garage sales etc coming up.Trying to put up a profile pic, no watch unfortunately, just little ol' me. How the heck do I do that. Thought I had it sussed. It seems I have been out of the IT industry for a wee bit too long.Anyway hoping to learn a lot from you guys, and hopefully find a few great womens watches as well. BTW I am not into "pretty", love big watches. Have a Officina Del Tempo, but know I can do much better - it was a start.Educate me

Decisions...
So I need your advice, I currently have an AP ROO Elephant 26470ST that Im thinking of selling to get 2 Rolex (probably a Hulk and a DJII 18k black romans) and have some money left. And my decision is based on that the AP being a superb watch it is also very delicate, just thinking that I might ding the bezel (my other watches bang around the walls) will make the watch decrease its resell value, right now the AP is like new condition so wanna take advantage of that, but then I look at it and it is so nice that makes me think once, twice...infinite times about doing it...first world problems
