Greetings everyone!I'm back from a fabulous week in Japan! I missed you guys!I'll do my best to get the usual trip reports up as quick as I can, but I feel like I took a months worth of photos in a week! My first vintage Omega
The quest for my first vintage Omega began as search for a "project watch" that was in rough shape, & could be ressurected. Some of you may remember my Benrus that was brought back to life in the same way:.info/foru...orum/46097.htmThe whole project was completed last week, & I'm really happy with the results! The case was really beaten up & had to be polished pretty severely (some scratches can still be seen on the back) & I think that it may have been redialed a long time ago, but I didn't do this for investment or resale. Now the movement is factory fresh & the overall effect is absolutely classic!The movement pic is from my watchmaker
