- I received this as a present for Christmas. I'm in love with the watch. It is feminine and elegant looking. The crystals (v. diamonds) also make it possible for everyday wear and affordable. I've always worn watches, and they still last the longest... my last watch just got tossed after 8 years (scratched up only after the last year).

For what I think is the first time, aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer is offering a woman's watch as a giveaway item this month - and it is a cool one. Up for grabs is this Tissot limited edition Danica Patrick edition ladies PRC 200 watch. Racing inspired for Danica, the PRC 200 is 39.8mm wide in a steel case that is water resistant to 200 meters. It has a sapphire crystal and lovely mother-of-pearl dial. Danica's number "7" is made in bold orange on the dial. Sets of Wesselton diamonds are used for the hour indicators otherwise. Inside the watch is Swiss quartz chronograph movement. Attached to the case is a pearlized white strap with orange contrast stitching. Retail price is $895 and these watches are limited to 4,999 pieces. Enter to win one belowTo Enter You Must: 1. I THINK that I MIGHT have found a manufacturer for the no-name trench watch cases that I just love ! ! !I see a lot of these no-name trench watch cases from the WWI period and I could NEVER understand why the manufacturer did NOT stamp their name on the case, I would have been proud to have put my name on these cases. It is a VERY high quality case that was VERY well made. The bezel and case back both snap VERY crisply into place, solid threads on the crown, good sleeves and a nice ridge for the crystals. These no-namers came in three different styles that I know exist and all were made of nickel.I came across an Elgin Trench Watch the other day from 1918 that looked VERY familiar! BUT, the case was NOT a no-namer, it was a WADSWORTH and it was made of Sterling Silver, NOT nickel.I have taken several pictures of the cases side by side and it APPEARS to me that this COULD be a match! Unfortunately the lugs on the sterling Wadsworth have been broken off but the placement of the lugs look
I have a 15400 incoming and am trying to figure out how I'm going to size the bracelet. I have watch screwdrivers, but don't know how difficult it is to remove the screws and I'm also afraid of scratching it. Unfortunately I don't have an AP AD near me. Hey guys, I need to source an extra link for my Speedmaster 3551.20.00, does anyone know what width it is or a bracelet number? Thanks!!
Well I was dinner last night with some serious collectors after the Sothebys preview and I have it on good authority the 5131P is on the way with N Pole map(as I suggested to Geneva last year) and also it will come with a bracelet so it will be heavy and most likely retail around 140-150K??? For those who love snow so much this could be the one for them also.. How accurate this info and the other stuff I heard is anyone's guess but if true some interesting things on the way in Basel and later in the year.. Time will tell so dont shoot the messenger. Here is a shot of all our pieces together..
