Zenith 96.0525.4021/21.R642 wrist watches news:
Hi all,Yet another forum I'm happy to have found and hope to be a long time member of. I've been looking at PPs for some time and have finally run across a combination I really like AND it is local to me so I can have it checked out in person. I'm not yet informed enough, however, to know what price range would be considered the "right buy" for this vintage piece that is supposed to be all original except for the band. Other thing I'm curious about is the affect the Merrick marking might have. Would appreciate any thoughts and I should be able to gather any specific info that might help me make this long awaited purchase. Thanks,Payman
Hi all, im new member here, nice too meet u. Wanna share my new pick up ap slategrey added new strap for it. Any thought? Gunmetal color & metal balls
A few years back, I was bless to acquire an AP Safari, which at the time was an awesome piece for me. I then ran across a Panerai 233 dot a few months later, fell in love and wanted that one instead, so on the trading block the AP went(I know that there is no comparison between the two, but once I locked in on it, there was no stopping). Oh! by the way I ended up selling that one a couple of weeks after ( I got buyers remorse ). This past weekend I was in San Francisco watch shopping mainly for some Rolex gold (Mike/Kilyung and Tom/tkerrmd inspired) then I came across the AP line in two different AD's, one of them was Shapur Mozaffarian (great selection). I keyed in on one in particular, tried it on, it was a match made in heaven, so I planned on getting it as a X Mas gift to myself along with my wife's approval. I figured that I should give one of our trusted sellers a call to see if they had one and what do you know, one had just came in.It should be here in the morning, just
Hi everyoneJust a little update on my AP purchase. Finally, the watch made it home. It wasn't an easy one but David was once again able to source the impossible. He was able to source a NIB 15300 forgotten somewhere. it is an old G series, but NEW, the impossible to source these days.Lucky enough, it is with me now and WOW, this is a real gem! Beauty of it can't be seen through pictures. Only in the hands and in the flesh, it does reveal it's true value and attention to details. I can never thank enough David for pursuing the quest of finding a LNIB, but ended up finding a NIB, even better :)This isn't the best of the pictures but as I have a busy day ahead and really wanted to share my experience, here it is.Cheers everyone.
Have you ever gone from one extreme to the other with a model? I never gave the Milgauss more than the briefest consideration before being totally not interested. Just did nothing for me. Seemed a little too out there color wise and that second hand...Then, today, for no apparent reason I find myself totally infatuated with the Z Blue. That dial, the green rimmed crystal, that whimsical second hand....can’t get it out of my head. I have no idea why this has happened. Maybe it’s just a little boredom with the black dial.
