- This watch is so easy to read and looks so good! The face is pretty large but I am a guy (6'4) so it looks great! High quality leather band. With the fancy presentation box, this would make an excellent gift.

Zenith 24.2060.405/21.C707 wrist watches news:
Hamilton is a brand that needs little introduction. Once one of the great American watch brands, Hamilton is now owned and operated by the Swiss Swatch group. Being a brand with such a distinct and rich history, Swatch has preserved the underlying aesthetic spirit and heritage of the brand by continually drawing upon their own archives for new products. These re-issues tend to stay very faithful to their original counterparts, with case and dial designs only having minor changes, but materials and movements being upgraded to today's standards. The Intra-matic, which was first (re)-introduced at Basel World 2012, is a very faithful recreation of a watch from the mid 60's. With subtle, refined details and minimal dial, the watch speaks to a time when form, graphic elements and a sense of modesty defined a casual or dress watch. The new Intra-matic takes the mid-century design vocabulary and places them in either a retro 38mm or a contemporary large 42mm case.We had the pleasure of spendin
OK, we know that some were named after famous explorers. So we have one that is named after, well not Amundsen but the one who missed the golden goal. Others like the Byrd, Livingston or Andrews, Stanley,...And at least one of the electrics was named after an employee. But what's the thing behind all the other strange names? Are they totally random chosen or is something known in old archives and the like how they decided that this watch gets the name "Ryan" and that one "Ross". Was it maybe even the privilege of the best employee of the month to get his/her name chosen for a model or is it just that some designer thought, hey this looks like, uhm, an Endicott. What do you think?
Hi there Longines loversI had a quick query regarding Longines straps. A wee while ago I had a Longines Evidenza with a creme face, roman numerals and a quartz movement. It was on a fabulous black calf strap with off- white stitching and deployant. A very nice watch. It's been a while, but the model number was something like L2.655.something. Maybe 654. It is a discontinued model.Fast forward to today- the happy owner of a midsize Omega Railmaster on brown croco. A nice watch that would be completed by that Longines strap. Does anyone know:- does the Evidenza strap come in 19mm width?- does it fit the Omega deployant?- where can I get one? Thanks so much for reading this far. Replies appreciated!Cheersps does anyone know if Longines makes half links for the Hydroconquest bracelet and where they can be sourced?Pps I have spoken to my AD and they don't know.Ppps- thank you again!
Second AP in about a month's time...I will be staying off the forum for a bit now...Thanks again MB23 (Mike) and texex91 (Paul) for his enabling skills.
