As much as I love GMT complications, I have to say that the name for this one is just silly. "Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Magnate GMT." Four proper names plus GMT suffix?That said, the watch itself is pretty nice looking. I'm not fond of the Rolex-style cyclops over the date, though some quite like them [Ed. note. Why must one pimp?
I use that word 'pimp' in terms of its colloquial meaning as 'primp' - to dress in flamboyant attire.I was watching basketball tonight at Madison Square Garden and noticed Spike Lee in an orange felt hat and red scarf. I really liked it. I feel this way myself. Why wear a black felt hat when you can wear an orange felt hat? That is my question.I've always been this way. Plastic or glass?
I recently purchased a sizeable lot of vintage, NOS mineral/glass crystals. I'm currently looking at some decent vintage NOS lots of plastic crystals. My question is, how much would it affect the value of a watch if it has a glass crystal versus a plastic crystal, and would it deter you from buying a watch if it had a glass crystal instead of plastic?
