I was in Singapore recently and spoke to an AD there about a few watches. He said the the current Explorer II was likely to be discontinued soon.Has anyone heard this along the grapevine?If this is so will the Explorer II become a collector piece?
As some of you might remember I ordered a new dial for my datejust witch already were at service at my ad. I ordered the dial 10-15-2008. My ad is 10 hrs away with car so I can not stop by them too often. He tells me it usually takes 6 weeks for rolex to send a dial to them. 6 weeks later I call and ask how my datejust is doing. He then tells me it has still not come and it might take some more weeks. I call him again 3-4 weeks later and asks if its done yet and it is still not done but he believes the dial will be here in 1-2 weeks now.I now called them again last Friday. Asking how in the world it can take so long just to send a dial. He then tells me Rolex never tells their customers wean they send the items they order. So he do not really know wean it gets here it just usually takes near 6 weeks. So I ask if this means I might have to wait like 6 months or maybe 1 year or 3 before the dial gets here?He then tells me he bets it will be here sooner then 6 months. Because it usually t
