Zenith 03-0520-410022C492GB wrist watches news:
With the new-for-2015 Urwerk UR-105 TA collection, the Swiss brand is making one of their most appealing timepiece collections even better. In 2014, Urwerk first unveiled the UR-105M watches which introduced a great new design as well as a new entry-level price point for the brand. The next model in the family is the Urwerk UR-105 TA "Turbine Automatic Knight Watches," which extends the range with not only new visual styles, but a totally different movement. Whereas the UR-105M was a manually-wound timepiece, the Urwerk UR-105 TA (UR-105TA) contains an automatic winding movement (Urwerk's "Turbine Automatic" system). Why "Turbine Automatic?" Well, most Urwerk automatic watches have a oscillating rotor which is connected to a set of turbines that visually spin with the rotor. Part of this is just for fun and showmanship, but it is also part of a system which allows the rotor to spin either easily, with a bit more resistance, or to stop it all together (when you expect the Urwerk UR-105 T
My decision is not about which IWC to get...that's a done deal....the decision now is which cap or cork I'll open to celebrate the arrival of my new time pieceShould I go with scotch? 12 or 16 year?<a href="s369.photobucket/albums/oo138/deponcepr/IWC/?action=view&current=decision_1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="i369.photobucket/albums/oo138/deponcepr/IWC/decision_1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Hi!I'm looking for some support and advice in an unpleasant situation. The situation is that I sent my Speedmaster -96 with impeccable tritium dial, not a single scuff on the dial, in for service. Now that I'm about to get the watch back from the service it turns out the watchmaker has not been using a dial protector when removing the hands (he claims that this was due to the hands being pressed to far down by the previous watchmaker for the protector to fit). However, this caused him to damage my dial (and chipping some paint off of the hands) when removing the hands. Now the watchmaker claims that it's not his fault that the dial got damaged etc and blames the previous watchmaker for pressing the hands too far down. The scuffs are not really that noticeable to the naked eye but it's no doubt that my previously 100% perfect original dial is now damaged and will be so. I can understand if I'm being a bit picky but this watch is my most precious belonging.Has anyone experienced anything l
I adore the nautilus. I have never owned one but I am thinking about it. First thing that bothers me about the watch is the shape of the dial. IMO its not perfect. If you look at the 10-11 hour indices the dial, case and crystal is slightly angular. Same thing for the other three corners. Now, this appears to be a consious decision but I just dont understand why. Would it not be better if there was no angles and it was a smooth curve? What do you think?Second thing is the clasp of the bracelet. It seems to be a bit thin and looks like it would open while wearing. I am not saying the whole bracelet will open but that little flap with the calatrava. IMO if it opens even once in a week thats too much. Did you have any problems with the clasp?
Hi! This is my first post here and my first potential Rolex purchase. I have been collecting watches for about 3 years now, mostly vintage Enicar sherpa guides and other chronographs. I have a speedy Circa 1995 which I love because of the vintage look of the aged tritium but it¡¯s more modern reliability.I am a professional chef so I really only have the opportunity to wear my vintage watches 2 full days a week which keeps some out of rotation for a long time. I really love the 16570 explorer II and am considering to purchase one as my daily watch to wear to work. I currently use a Seiko skx, which is fine, but would like to step it up a bit.I see photos of this reference with either: a) white looking hands and markers b)Cream aged markers but white hands c) both aged hands and aged markers.Being a vintage lover I like the idea of the Watch having the possibility of developing patina in that way and reading the time in the dark isn¡¯t a big issue to me.I know of 2 for sale right now th
