A. Lange & Sohne 233.026 wrist watches news:
She hadn't worn a watch in years, so I bought her one without her knowing, and gave it to her. She had seen a lady's Rolex DateJust in an AD awhile back, but figured I'd test the water to see if she'd consistently wear one before buying such a nice time piece. She's received a couple compliments on it so far, so hopefully, she'll jump on the WIS bandwagon too.Anyways, managed to get her to stop long enough for a couple pics.
I was reading tonight Pannerai has watches with a 10 day power reserve. The common ETA 2824 is about 32-34 hours, the 2892 commonly offers around 40.Some tweaked versions of various ETA movements offer much longer reserves as do in-house movements. So how important is the length of a power reserve to you?Is it a selling point? Will you pay extra for a longer reserve? After mulling this, I've decided it's no big deal - for me. The base ETA works just fine for me - particularly since I change my watch at least once a day. Since I don't use winders, I'm constantly resetting the time on my autos - using my quartz watches ()!And as far as power reserve goes, no traditional automatic beats the FOUR YEAR reserve in my Seiko Kinetic Perpetual.
Seems like Omega has released a teaser on the front page....Dark Side of the Earth?.omegawatches/If it's a limited all ceramic PO that looks good....I am afraid I will be calling my local Omega Boutique.
A timeless classic just got 'smarter'.

An ¡°Excellent¡± reputation is represented by an overall RepTrak? Pulse score of 80 or higher. For the first time, the company with the highest rating and the top spot (Rolex) falls into the ¡°Excellent¡± range.
