Montblanc 03274 wrist watches news:
Hi All,I have a SMP and wanted to get guidance on strap adjustment.Did a quick scan for an existing threads and whilst I saw a tutorial for strap changing, couldn't see one for link removal.I think my wrist is inbetween sizes .. watch was too loose, so had AD remove a half link. Now feels too tight occassionally (especially during warm days).Pretty sure I read here that 2 half-links are longer that a single full link - is that right? Also - I have a link removal tool from eBay - assume this is all I need, just need some beginners guide on how to use it properly.ThanksIan.
I was browsing the Panerai catalog that arrived around the same time I got my PAM 320. I realised that the time on each model displayed showed the time 10:10 and for models with the date was displayed 28.I thought to myself where have I seen that display before? I realised that Rolex use the same time and date configuration on their watches for advertisements !Is Panerai playing a silent homage to Rolex for providing movements in the past or is it a coincidence?Just my thoughts!
Hey all, I have the fortune of having a friend getting me a customized shirt. I've never had one before and one of the options offered to me was to increase the sleeve on the left side by .25 or .5 if I desired to better accommodate a watch. I've never felt the need for this with the 5711 it seems to lie flat and work with a regular sleeve but perhaps it would do better with a slightly enlarged cuff? Do any only you increase the sleeve on the watch arm?
Just picked up the 5980-1r but already thinking of other moves...(still need to move the skyD as part of the 5980-1r transaction as promised to the wife). Now thinking whether to swap the 44mm RG ROO and jumbo for a 5990-1a or 5960-1a. The only concern is 5990-1a may be too similar to 5980-1r but 5990-1a would allow me to wear to work as I usually do not wear gold to work. Seeking expert advice from all the great members of TRF.
I'm a big fan of the 16710 both in early form Coke on Jubilee and late pepsi oyster. However, I'm finding many average versions mostly on an oyster and prices are quite high, even those for those without box and papers. With B&P are either dubious sets or the watch has been over polished and the asking price will be silly. I'm hunting in Europe mainly but on these the paperwork rarely identifies if the original was black/coke/pepsi. So after searching for the last month mainly on C24 I have about 3 main options.A 1989 L serial Coke on jubilee, has been polished but waiting for photo's to guage the extent.A 1997 T serial - SWISS - T <25 dial - Drilled case - hollow end links on oyster2005 - SWISS MADE dial - Drilled case - SEL should have an etched crown crystal These run out 16710s have a lot of dial changes and two case variations. Where is the sweet spot for the future value? A 3186 is outside of my rangeIf the 97 and 05 watches are mint condition Pepsi with box and papers an
