A. Lange & Sohne A. Lange & Sohne 45013 wrist watches news:
Let me share with you a few of the words that Graham uses to describe its newer Chronofighter Oversize GMT Black Steel watch collection. The name itself is long enough as it is. Let's see here, according to our friends at the British Masters this watch is "chic, gutsy, dogged, classy, undaunted, a milestone, magnetic, skilled, extra sensitive, faithful, and a backslider." Wow, that sounds like rock band made up of a KGB spy, an ex dictator turned psychologist, Alexander the Great, and a criminal who was formerly an arch bishop. I had to look up "backslider" by the way. No, it isn't a cool way of falling down the stairs. Apparently it is a religious term for a "saved" person who has fallen into sinned. Oh Graham, you dogged backslider you.Ignoring the thesaurus-derived spew we can focus on the watches themselves. The design is a bit of a hybrid between some of what Graham has offered in the past. Mainly its famous Chronofighter and GMT watches. When I first learned about Graham watches
While watching the Beijing Olympics and seeing all the Omega timing devices and then looking down at my PO or SMP, whichever one I happened to be wearing at the moment, and then after reading Omega's history with timekeeping for the Olympics, I decided it was time to make another purchase. However, this one would not be a watch that I could alternate with my others to wear for a day or two. Rather, I decided to add a special part of Omega's history to my family. I searched the usual places; Google, eBay, SC on various forums, etc. Well I finally found it a few days ago and got it earlier this week. It is from the 1960's and came with the original box and warranty book. Here it is:Can you guess what it is?A Rattrapante stopwatch. My PO next to it to give you a comparison of the thickness. And now the unveiling of the "engine".As I said it came with the original warranty book.It is a chronometer. Not sure whether all Omega stopwatches were or just certain kinds. On your mark. Get set. GO!Two

I'm asking b/c I see several for sale on Jomashop, etc. Could I still get a FOIS from an AD?
I bought my 116519 a few months back. At the time I wore my SS 116500 almost exclusively on Oysterflex, with aftermarket end links, to emulate the look of the 116519. When I got the WG Daytona, I put the Oyster PCL bracelet back on the SS Daytona, and have been wearing like that ever since. Then yesterday, I switched the SS Daytona back to OF and I have to say I might just prefer my make shift Oysterflex SS 116500 more than the beautiful, and natural born oysterflex 116519.Hear me out. They're very different, so this is not your typical which is better, 114060 vs 116610 type of talk. It's not really apples to apples. I know there are many variables to consider when squaring these two watches off. There's retail price, secondary market price and demand, oyster bracelet and PCLs vs Oysterflex. It's not really a fair comparison to make and to be fair, these two watches don't compete for wrist time. They both have a time and place in my rotation. I absolutely love both pieces and l
