Audemars Piguet 15180BC.OO.A002CR.01 wrist watches news:
While the case and remote access are quite nice, I think that having a resistance to water of only 30 meters for the case is too little. However, the Crystal is Sapphire and the dial is coated with SuperLumiNova luminous. Being is not a limited edition Oris watch, X - 1 Crown Big calculator will be part of the standard collection for some time and corresponds to a black calf strap. Because the watch uses a basic movement and a design which is only a fundamental review of the things we saw before, I expect a huge price for this timepiece.
So after buying my wifes DJ today I spent some time talking to my AD about the Milgauss...it is a beautiful watch and I am very intrigued...it is officially been added to my 'watch' list.I love how it does not have the stereotypical Rolex look but is still made with the same Rolex quality and will wear exceptionally well over the long-term. I plan to do much more research and will share what I learn with you all.If any of you have any information, opinions or experience with the Milgauss let me know.Does anyone know what the MSRP is on the green crystal model?
Hi there,I don't want to start a flame, but I would like to know the opinion of Rolex owners. We all know that Rolex is among the most valuated brands, that is what this company has tried to bring into the market for years through heavy advertisment. Most of you know that the style of Rolex is copied, especially the submariner style, by many brands which have used high quality materials in producing them. The details are not as the same quality as Rolex of course, but an untrained eye probably won't find out the differences between them. Some of the watches that have copied the style of Rolex are Seiko, Orient, Bernhard, Invicta, etc. I will not go on mentioning other brands.I am getting to the point of my post. Would you were a watch that is similar to a Rolex design? Would that be against your taste?
I currently have a SS Daytona white dial. It is my 4th one, so you can tell that I like it :) I really like the 3,6,9 subdial layout, thin case and screw down chrono pushers. Any suggestions for an alternative or something similar in a lower price range, perhaps $5,000 or under for pre-owned? I have my eye on the Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow chrono model# 321.10.42.50.01.001, black dial. See attached pic (borrowed from Omega website). It is 42mm. What is the case thickness? How does it wear? Large, average or small? The Daytona wears very comfy due to the thin case. A lot of chronos out there have super thick cases, which I do not like. And yes, I am thinking about selling the Daytona and buying a another chrono so I can stash the extra cash in the bank. Not sure if I would regret selling the Daytona or not. That is my other dilemma.
Out of curiosity how many of you would be interested in the release of a Platinum Sub this year? This is my grail and I want to imagine its going to be released at some point ¡°soon¡±. I¡¯m imagining it with that dull red face that¡¯s been posted on the forum before. No doubt the price will be steep but how steep?? $65-75k? I think this would be the only watch that could make me part with my Smurf. Oh well, I¡¯m normally disappointed in the Basel releases so I¡¯m hoping for a surprise this year. If not, I will just continue to enjoy my Smurf because IMHO it¡¯s the perfect watch for a guy that wears the same shirt, shorts and flip flops every single day! I¡¯ve been approached only on a single occasion from a fellow WIS who said ¡°nice watch, really nice watch¡±. I like the whole stealth thing with this watch and I imagine the Platinum Sub will be the same.
