Tissot Watches Become Official Timekeeper Of NBA Basketball
Swatch Group-owned Tissot watches has just announced a major multi-year deal to become the official timekeeper of the NBA (National Basketball Association) and its associated entities. The deal means that Tissot will be prominently displayed in all NBA, WNBA, and other NBA-related events as the association's official timekeeper. This is big news, as American basketball is one of the more recent sports to be the recipient of heavy investments from Swiss watch makers. While there have been various deals among watch brands and teams or players, to my knowledge, there has not yet been (in recent history) any official timekeeper of the NBA at large.Tissot's relationship with the NBA is rather massive. In addition to Tissot-brand timers and game and shot clocks, Tissot will have the right to produce Tissot timepieces with any of the NBA team logos on it, as well as clocks, and other accessories. My Rolex has quit running
Help! I have a GMT2C that has quit running three times over the last week. I have now come to the conclusion that there must be a problem.It is my daily beater and that thing barely leaves my wrist. In the last two years I've traded it out here or there, but that piece always ends up on my wrist by the end of the day.Three days this week, I was doing normal activities and noticed it stopped. On Tuesday afternoon it stopped around lunchtime. Two-days ago it stopped while I was driving. Now, this morning it stopped again while I was sleeping.I've noticed the last 2-times it has stopped around the 25-second mark, making me think there is some type of mechanical defect. But I am looking for opinions on what it may be, and what something like this may be costing me. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Make my 1st special
Hi allI have been searching intensely for my 1st watch to start me off. So far I have been swaying towards a Hamilton as I really like there watches and the history although now looking around I have noticed baume et mercier and Maurice lacroix. What are your thoughts on these brands and what would be good to start with. If I go for the more expensive baume et mercier do I have to get the higher end models. My price limit is around ¡ê1500 and ideally would like leather strap and an auto movement.

Just worried I won't wear it too much because of it's sheer prettiness and somehow I won't want to wear it casually and sporty? I know it's a sports watch, but it felt kind of delicate, not sure why!Also, I always loved the 5712, they are getting the last one in the company for me, with the blue/slate dial on bracelet to look at. Price is much more appealing to me, love the power reserve and moon phase, dial overall.. I think 51k is A LOT for a steel chrono, thoughts? Way overpriced? Last question, I guess i'll see for myself, the 5980 fit beautifully but I wouldn't want to go smaller... 5712 people say wears smaller? How much so? Which would you pick and why... Reliability?
