- This is a really cute watch and at a very reasonable price. I have had it for almost a month and have had no blems only compliments about it. Priced this in Aruba and it was almost $100 more.

Patek Philippe Revamps Generations Ads
More of an official portrait that the earlier "generations", Patek Philippe ad new images present sounds which are substantially older than before. Presentation of the product was also amended, with watches that appear in the blocks of Brown, with the iconic tagline "you never actually own a Patek Philippe, you merely look after it for the next generation". To create new images, Patek Philippe and his London-based advertising agency to that Leagas Delaney turned famous photographer Craig McDean mode. In addition to creating portraits of celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Joaquin Phoenix, Natalie Portman and Uma Thurman, McDean has been behind the lens for a series of luxury brand advertising campaigns including Gucci, Giorgio Armani and Yves Saint Laurent. Found: The Watch That Would (Not) Be King: A Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Made For King Edward VIII
This vintage Reverso is one with a stronger than usual connection to history, and it's a memento of a crisis. Movement vs. hand winding/Belowzero vs. Field Mechanical
What I have here are two very beautiful time pieces. Both unique in their own way yet carry an unprecedented amount of class (as all Hamilton¡¯s do). Now one of these watches will be in my possession. So I have two questions. One, simply what is your opinion on the BelowZero Auto vs. the Field Mechanical Officer? And two, what do you gain, or lose, on an automatic movement in comparison to a hand winding? I like the idea, very timeless in a sense, but I¡¯ve never owned one. Your words are appreciated.

Hey guys,I am curious to hear your opinion about the future demand of the 5168G and its potential success.Will it be as hard to get as the 5711 blue?Will we see prices on the grey market above retail (on chrono24 it gets offered for around 10k more than retail)?Does anyone have numbers on how much they will produce or on how many will get shipped? I heard that just a handful will hit certain regional markets.

Greetings gents,,,As some of you know I have been lusting after the 5131J/R for few years. Being an airline captain flying around the globe week in week out I thought this amazing piece would be fitting to own and one day and look at all the cities and World enamel dial knowing I have touched down all over it would be an amazing achievement. After knocking on doors all over the World at various Patek Philippe ADs and even writing a personalized letter direct to Mr Stern I soon realised this piece is mission impossible anywhere near retail price.. Anyway cut a long story short I recently parted with my gorgeous 5980R and 5712 (very reluctantly this one) added some cash and finally got my hands on a sealed 5131R from a good friend here in Dubai. I am over the moon with the watch as it typifies everything that Patek is about with the calavatra style case and enamel dial of the World, and the Rose gold is awesome too.Hope you enjoy few photos and I am sure I will be adding more soon.. Andy
