LEGO Launches Wrist Watch Collection For Adults
We are proud to be the first to announce a new collection of LEGO brand watches for adults. That's right, LEGO, which has had a large collection of kids watches for years, will soon launch a comprehensive collection of timepieces for men and women in November 2013. These are among the very few plastic watches we would wear. What is fun is that despite being sized (and styled) for adults (at least adults in terms of age), the LEGO watches for adults have as many fully swappable parts as the kids versions have.Officially, these timepieces are referred to as the LEGO Watch System because pieces such as the bracelet links and bezels can be interchanged with each other. The links for the bracelet can be arranged in a series of colors and styles, but we think most people will enjoy them in solid colors (as they come out of the box). Though, it is fun to play. I'm preparing for my next Hamilton purchase with a purge of some seldom worn watches. I think my first step will be in line with Rusty, pelikan3, Wally and Ventura57..Seems like being the 50th anniversary is a good reason to buy a "wedgie". Daytona Temptation
Hi allI popped into my local AD yesterday and saw the 116519LN in the flesh for the first time. I was blown away by the 'Steel and Black' dial and the Oysterflex bracelet.About three years ago I set myself a target collection of: Speedy, Sea Dweller, Royal Oak, and a Nautilus. I have the Speedy, the Dweller, and the Royal Oak, and have started the search for a 5980 or 5990.When the 116500 came along, it was too good to resist so that upset my plans a little. I've now had it 18 months and love it, but have accepted that it will likely have to go to help fund the Patek when I eventually find one. But of course this could take 3 or 4 years to get one from an AD.So my dilemma is, should I swap the 116500 for the 116519 (cost to change of c.¡ê6k ish) and enjoy it, knowing that if a PP comes up sooner than expected, it may have to go and I'd lose money on it, but on the other hand, if the PP does take the time I think it will, then I may be able to afford to keep the Daytona.Does anyone who h
