The "Max Bill watch" as it is known is one of the 20th Century's most famous watch designs. Clearly conceived by designer and architect Max Bill in Switzerland, the watch was a staple of goodness back when it was originally made in the 1960s. Hello everyone,Some of you'll may remember me from the Omega forum. I'm about this close to deciding on purchasing a 14060M, sub no date, which would be my first Rolex. One of my local AD's has it in store.What should I be looking for? In terms of serial numbers, papers etc? Any advice or links to already posted information would be helpful! Ah, fabulous Argentina, land of creative watch re-assembly, where no original watchdial seems able to survive among the teeming redialers that turn every third rate no-brand into a Jaeger, Girard Perregaux or Ulysse Nardin. What vintage watch collector in his right mind would wade into that muck? Well *ahem* I did. And for not an inconsiderable amount of beans.
