Tissot t0852101101100 wrist watches news:
It would be wrong to deny Cartier the honor of being highly innovative over the last several years in regard to its most exclusive timepiece creations. To be actually innovative and come up with something new in a mechanical watch takes serious effort and luck. It has been uttered to me on more than one occasion that what can be done in a watch has been done, and furthermore, that all a watchmaker can do today is interpret and play with previously invented concepts. So when you see something new, no matter how whimsical or playful in a luxury watch, it is a worth one's attention. How is the 2014 Rotonde de Cartier Earth And Moon Tourbillon watch novel? It uses the round window on the dial meant for displaying the tourbillon as also the moon for the moon phase indicator. The system is rather simple, and visible on demand only. Upon pressing the pusher at 4 o'clock a disc moves out from under the 4 o'clock indicator to pass over part of all of the tourbillon window. The shape left by the
I bought this watch back in early 1980 when gold was at an all time high($849) for scrap. The case and dial were in decent shape, it ran, and came with a black round pocket protector case.I didn't have the heart to break it apart, and send it along to its certain death According to the serial #, it was made in 1925, 12s, 17j, model #3, 345 grade.
First off I know it'll be worthless without pics and it may be a while since it's supposed to take 4 weeks until it arrives, but here's the story, and can you guess what it is? Not Dennis,( he already knows).About 4 years ago my wife turned forty and she had always hinted that her wedding ring wasn't as big and shiny as some of her friends'. I was unemployed at the time we got engaged and had to use savings for her ring. So I saved for a year and presented her with a watch my sons picked out and the monies to buy a new bigger ring. She ultimately declined but I always kept the offer on the table for a ring or whatever she wanted.During those four years I tried getting her a "nicer" watch which included two Michelle and a Tag, none of which really excited her.Recently she started looking while I was looking at watches for a nice one of her own.Ultimatley she decided on a Rolex, but she couldn't find the right color/bracelet combination, and she wasn't super excited until two days ago
About to pull the trigger on my very first AP (42mm ROO Slate Gray/ gray themes). The only hindrance that is letting me think twice are the ff:1) that the SS Bezel is a scratch magnet (what's your take?)2) issues regarding the movement (either too fast or too slow)*live in Manila, Philippines and to service an AP here takes around 2-3months turnaround since they will still take it to AP Singapore. Any feedback/ advice would be of great help! Thanks much guys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hopefully the mods will give me some latitude here as this isn't strictly PP related, but I wanted to share with my friends on the PP forum that I got engaged last night! I managed to make it to 42 years old without being married, but I am finally growing up! I thoughts watches were expensive until I discovered the world of diamonds! Please raise a virtual glass with me to celebrate!
