UHW - Unidentified Hamilton Watch
Hi Hamilton Experts,Any information on this Hamilton will be appreciated. What I can tell you is that this watch has a solid 14kt gold case and band. It was purchased in 1947 as an engagement present by my mother for my father. It was handed down to me when my father passed away 31 years ago. It looks like there is a small lip on the back of the case to pry it open, but I do not want to force it open and break anything. I stopped in yesterday to pick up a jewelry repair for my wife. The owner said he was just about to call me as he received a 5960/1A late the day before. I had just been talking to him about this watch and he didn't think he would see it before 2015. Bottom line - it is on my wrist this morning.
